At 7:00 am our expert Licensed Tour guide will pick you up from your hotel or Nile cruise or even from Luxor Airport to enjoy a day tour to the amazing 2 temples Edfu and Kom Ombo. Drive for about 2 hours passing through interesting Egyptian villages enjoying atmosphere of the Nile Valley to City of Edfu, where you will visit Edfu temple for 2 hours. Edfu Temple was constructed between 237 and 57 BC during the Ptolemaic era extended between 332 – 30 BC, and considered to be the best preserved temple in Egypt.
Then, continue to Kom Ombo City, which located at about 70 km south of Edfu, visit the unique double Temple of Kom Ombo, which was built for two deities, the crocodile-headed Sobek, god of fertility and creator of the world, and Haroeris or the ancient falcon-headed Horus. Then, stop for having a nice lunch at local restaurant. After having your lunch, drive back to your hotel in Luxor.
